Craft time and other random messiness

Warning: this post could will get messy!

We did some finger painting for the first time and made some valentines.

 

 

 

 

Of course he had to taste a little- I knew I would not regret buying non-toxic paint!
 

 

 

 

How can I get messier? Oh yes, I should put some in my hair....

Here is his valentine for his little pen pal, Ella. He also made some for Daddy and the grandparents but I forgot to take a picture

On to other random messiness....I'm not sure what he is eating/playing with here. Yogurt maybe? Whatever it is, he had a great time!

What has Jacob been up to?

I know you have been wondering! Time to catch up once again.

This particular Saturday, Sean had to work so Jacob and I went to the Duck Derby at Mead Gardens. First, we watched the Peabody ducks go for a walk.

 

 

 

Then, we bought a rubber duck to enter in the race and went to the decorating table to paint it.

He was very upset that he couldn't get any closer. Afterwards we listened to Mr. Richard perform, and then it was time for the big race!
 

Our duck is out there somewhere! Unfortunately, it did not win :(
 
After lunch and a nap, we headed out to the science center and Daddy was able to meet us there. Jacob had a blast!

The following Tuesday, we met Rowan and Paige and there moms for a playdate. We walked around lake Eola and then had a picnic lunch.
