For Labor Day weekend, we went to St. George Island with both of our families. Although Jacob doesn't realize this, he was actually here last labor day weekend, in my belly! :)
Warning: If you do not like lots (and lots) of pictures of a really cute baby at the beach...do not read any further
Friday evening (our house is behind us):
Saturday- also Sept. 4, Jacob's 8 month birthday
That cute bucket is from Uncle Bill and Aunt Sue
Playing with the new sand toys from Bubbe and Zaide
Jake and Abby
Holding hands- so sweet!
To all of Jacob's other girlfriends- Allison, Caitlyn, Olivia, and anyone else I may have left out- Jacob says "don't worry! There is plenty of me to go around!"
Bubbe tells Jake a secret
Zayde and his drawing
Sean falling!
In the pool with Tanta Sarah
At dinner with both the Grandmas
With Tanta Sarah
Sunset- not too bad for being taken with a point and shoot from a moving car!
Sleepy boy! It appears I left the camera on sunset mode
Sunday:
Playing in the beach house
Mr. Blue Eyes
Kisses from Bubbe
Sarah and Abby
Testing the camera's underwater abilities
Jake and Grandpa
Grandma Emmy
The waves were actually rocking him to sleep!
Sean experiments with the camera:
Underwater
Half underwater
Taken from underwater
Zayde and Jake playing in the pool
Dad, me, Abby, Sean, Jacob
Some serious Daddy play
Splash splash!
Climbing on Grandpa
Sleeping on Grandma
Sarah with both babies
Shelby and Lindsey. I used to babysit for these girls when they were little and now they are seniors in high school! And just for fun:
Here they are (in reverse order) at St. George, Labor Day weekend 1996
Jacob at brunch Sunday, showing off the shirt that Daddy brought him back from Maryland (it says: When you're this cute its ok to be this crabby)
Old cars on the way home. I really wish I had brought my SLR (left it at home by mistake). These would have been so much fun to photograph
Back in Tallahassee- Jacob tries to turn on the stereo!
