Things I want to remember

-Jacob has discovered that he can carry something with him while he crawls. So whatever he is playing with- a block, rings, whatever- he carries with him when he crawls somewhere. Usually he goes to the nearest table or wall and bangs the item against it.

-When a stranger comes up to us in a store or something and talks to him, sometimes he will lay his head down on me and smile at them. I don't know if it is shyness or flirting or what- but I love it!


-He pulls himself up on EVERYTHING. He also loves to get into this position where he is on his hands and feet (as if you were standing and touched the ground with your hands, except his weight is more evenly distributed between his hands and feet. I will try to find a picture).


-He gets the biggest smile on his face when he sees his Daddy


-He has been saying Mama- but he doesn't know what it means yet


-When he is sitting in his high chair or on someone's lap, he LOVES to fling things on the ground. He doesn't just gently drop them over the side, he really flings them like he is annoyed they are up there! However if we are at a restaurant and we give him a spoon, he will hold onto it for the entire meal. Anything else gets thrown on the floor.

-Current food likes and dislikes: 
   -Likes: sweet potato, pears (favorite), peaches, banana, rice cereal, oatmeal, peas, peach yogurt
   -Dislikes: avocado, squash
